Weekly news

We have had a great week in Year 2 and been very busy.
Monday morning got off to an exciting start when we noticed white footprints and a letter from Father Christmas had been left for us in the classroom. We carefully wrote our own replies saying what we would like and why, a gift idea for someone else and a question for Father Christmas.
In Maths we have been learning about multiplication and making equal groups. We have been practising our 2,5 and 10x tables. Please continue to practise these over the Christmas holidays.
We completed our marvellous masterpieces and were thrilled to share these with you at our gallery on Wednesday afternoon. Thank you all so much for coming, we hope you enjoyed our work.
We have been extremely busy with play rehearsals this week and can’t wait to perform it to you next week! Please could we ask that we have any outstanding costumes in school on Monday morning as our dress rehearsal is in the afternoon.
Please could we also remind you that children need a spare sock for a craft activity on Monday 16th December. This is for a hat for a snowman.
Have a lovely weekend
The Year 2 team
