What a busy week we have had in Year 2 (or should we call part of it Year 3?).
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, the children spent in the new classes with their teachers for next year.  The did lots of different activities to give them a taste of what next year will be like.  This included sketching and painting their class animals, learning some French and playing some get to know me games.
The children have been enjoying their PE lessons this term, they have been doing lots of different athletics related activities.
On Friday, we really enjoyed welcoming all the Year 2 children from the cluster (Hethersett, Little Melton and Cringleford).  They experienced many things with an international flavour - food from different parts of the world, African drumming, International dancing, Aboriginal art, and talks from university students from around the world.
As we are nearing the end of year, please could you bring a named carrier bag in to school for the children's books to be brought home in.

Many thanks

Year 2 team
