Next week

As part of our transition days next week, we are asking the children to bring something small in to share during circle time.  It should be something that will help their new teachers to get to know them, e.g. it could be a favourite toy.
They are looking forward to spending a few days with them and getting to know them in preparation for September.

We are looking forward to seeing you for our Internet Safety themed learning café on Monday 10 th  February.  Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available from 8:45-9:00. You are welcome to drop the children off in the line and proceed to get your refreshments.  Please ensure that any mugs and hot drinks are tidied away to the back of the room ready for the children to come in at 9:05, this is to ensure that we keep the children safe. A reminder that next Thursday 13th February, is our Victorian Day. We are inviting the children to come dressed in clothing from the Victorian era and bring a packed lunch if they wish to continue with the Victorian theme.

Jill Wright visit

On Wednesday afternoon Year 2 had a fascinating talk by Jill Wright a local author who is also an expert on the history of Mulbarton. She has written a local history book which we have been looking at class. She talked to us about the history of the village and showed us lots of photographs. We compared the village now to the village in the past. We are very grateful to Jill for giving up her afternoon and we really enjoyed it.
